Child Care
During Child Care, children participate in much of the same fun activities that they do in preschool and kindergarten, including:
- Indoor & outdoor recess
- Table games, toys, books & puzzles
- Free play in our specialty theme rooms (Farm, Home Sweet Home, Tunnels)
- A/V time
- Dramatic play
- Computer time
- Story time
- Bible time
- Crafts
- Snack Time
- Naps (Optional for 4 and 5 year olds)
Child Care is available before school as early as 6:30 a.m. and after school until 6:00 p.m.
Frequent Questions
What is the schools cut-off date?
A student must be the appropriate age on or before November 1st in order to enter 3’s and 4’s preschool and 5 year old kindergarten.
What are the child care operating hours?
Child care is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (lunch and an afternoon snack are provided).
Child care continues operating daily through most school holidays (parents can obtain a copy of the school’s yearly calendar).
What are the school’s operating hours?
Preschool: 8:30–11:00 a.m.
Kindergarten: 8:15–11:00 a.m.
(Parents may drop off their child to their classroom 30 minutes prior to the start time.)
We also have afternoon 4’s preschool and kindergarten classes available.
Complimentary child care is available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Does my child need to be potty trained?
Yes. All children need to be fully potty trained before they begin school. Diapers or pull ups are not permitted.
Is there a program for the summer months?
Yes, our Summer Day Camp program runs from June through September.
What supplies does my child need for school and child care?
We ask that parents provide an appropriate book bag, a pocket folder, a small bottle of white glue, a paint shirt, and an extra change of clothing in a zip lock bag.
Child care students will also need a small blanket labeled with their name for nap time (the school will provide the cot sheets for a small fee).
Do you have transportation assistance?
Yes. We have an extensive carpool list that can be obtained from the school receptionist.
